·        This is a tutorial covering general mentoring concepts.  I would recommend that you save the Mentoring Training Toolkit (PDF format) so that it is easier to access when needed in the tutorial. Use the navigation bar at the bottom of each page for easy navigation.

Tutor Training from National Mentoring Center (NWREL)

·        These tutorials assist mentors in their role as a tutor. Specific modules deal with reading comprehension (understanding), working on homework with your mentee, along with a wealth of information about tutoring/mentoring in the “support materials” section as well as a “tote bag” of educational materials available for the taking.

The Tutor Newsletter (NWREL)

·        Read the newest or archived versions of The Tutor newsletter.  These newsletters are full of ideas for use with specific academic areas with your Littles.

Scholarshop For Kids

·        Here you can use four online simulations regarding careers, postsecondary educational opportunities, and the relevance of school as it relates to future goals. These are fun activities featuring Garfield the Cat and they are free to use with your Little.

Lima/Allen County College Access Program

·        Help your Little acquire information about college choices and financial aid at this site.

Afterschool Program Activities
