How You Can Help

Each of us has been touched by someone who introduced us to new worlds and brought something special into our lives. As a Big Brother or Big Sister, you can do that too! Celebrate the joy of everyday moments -- moments when you get back as much as you give -- and know you enrich a child's life just by being there. Together, we can teach children to dream and to succeed!

If you think you'd like to be a Big Brother or Big Sister, print the Mentor Application, fill it out, and mail or fax it to us. We'll take it from there. Our professional staff will call to schedule an in-person interview and orientation session, timed to fit your schedule. Our volunteer screening process is thorough but customer-friendly -- just the way you'd want it.

After you've been accepted, we'll match you with a child who shares your interests and can benefit from your knowledge and skills. And we'll provide support throughout the match -- answering questions, setting goals, solving problems (if there are any). Be forewarned: Most of our mentors tell us this is one of the most rewarding things they've ever done!
